So over on the Voce Nation I just published the first of several posts I’ve been cooking up on social media measurement. If you’ve got the time to give it a read, know that it comes from two places: 1) My own observations and experience working with our account teams and clients on measurement methodologies — we’ve been doing this for nearly a decade now, so we better have some insights and opinions at this point; and 2) My own growing frustration with expert-itis and the people who perpetuate the notion that “you can’t measure” this type of marketing or worse, those who insist you can, but would have you infinitely fidgeting and fussing with the pieces and parts of measurement instead of answering the big-ticket questions at the tip of most marketers’ tongues.
