My consulting experience, includes:
Developing and executing a mix of domestic and international social media marketing strategies for brands like Comcast, Disney, DC Comics, eBay, Experian, Fujitsu, HP, Logitech, Monster, NetApp, Intel, Plantronics, PlayStation, SanDisk, Sony Entertainment, VeriSign, Yahoo!, and several others.
My experience working with these brands covers the last 12+ years of my career as a digital consultant in the Silicon Valley and as a result, it includes a fairly wide range of digital marketing activities from content strategy and digital publishing programs, to online reputation management, customer engagement and advocacy-building initiatives to community management and internal digital governance work. In addition to my core consulting experience, digital analytics is an important professional area of interest to me, and I tend to seek out those projects where a strong POV on analytics and measurement models can be applied.
My management experience, includes:
Managing small, mid and large-size consulting teams, with most of my focus the last 5+ years on multinational teams with multi-million dollar budgets. In addition to my account management responsibilities, I created, developed and managed the digital services team within Voce Communications. Initially, this was a small team of senior consultants providing social media marketing counsel to technology brands, but it grew to 30+ consultants and incorporated a wide range of digital services — from content development and community management, to user experience design and web application development. The growth and success of this service team helped Voce secure several large brands and generate millions in incremental profit. In 2011, Voce was acquired by Porter Novelli, a Omnicom company.
I am currently a senior vice president for Voce and the global chief-of-staff for Porter Novelli Connect, the firm’s digital marketing services team.
