The average PlayStation blog post is generating 135+ comments; very early on they learned their @name comment replies were helpful, but just getting lost with volumes like this, so they developed a custom WordPress plugin that allows their authors to reply in-line to all the comments (read more about that here).

This is totally helpful. It’s a problem that many blogs do not have, so it’s good to hear the challenges that are unique to big brand blogs.

This presentation was one of the highlights of New Comm. The Sony PlayStation definitely showed that smart people can recover from an early mistake and go on to do things right. I gained a lot of respect for Sony just on the open and straightforward way that Jeff and his colleague responded to questions.

I think this presentation should be shared as broadly as possible. If you’re ever heading into Canada with the team, how about doing a Third Tuesday session?
